San Diego--at it's finest

You are not a true Californian unless you live for a good In-N-Out hamburger. Lori and Nick have been missing it majorly since their move to New Mexico. We went twice. It should last them until their next trip in July, right??? Matt had never seen downtown San Diego, so we headed out to Seaport Village. Because of the San Diego marathon, downtown was a total mess. In fact, Lori and Nick almost missed their flight. But they made it and we got to see a cool view of the San Diego harbor with the Coronado bridge in the background.
4 1/2 years ago, Matt and I were married in this temple. It was cool to come back and visit. The place was pretty empty, since it was Sunday. That is quite a switch from our wedding day, where literally hundreds of people were lined up all around the grounds (35 weddings that day!) I really cannot get over how much I missed palm trees.

Here is that same grin!

We stood on this very spot to take a wedding picture.
