Annual Sistas Trip plus my Momma

My two younger sisters and my mom made the 12 hour drive (all at once) out here to see us. My sister is also 6 months pregnant, so it was a sacrifice and we love them all the more for it. It was a great trip, we packed much in the 4 days they were here. Here are some pics of the trip.

Eating Chocolate Malted Krunch from Thrifty's.
Since I will probably miss Lindsey's baby shower, I gave her her gifts early...the hooter hider and also a bow hanger made from a huge gerber daisy. Lindsey is a girly girl so I know that her little girl will be dolled up with the fancy shmancy bows!

Matt lived up to his expectation as Master Teaser and Loni was his target the day we went to ritzy (snooty) downtown Walnut Creek. He didn't think her outfit matched. Don't worry Lonster, my clothing gets critiqued as well :) Just ask Matt about the day I wore a pink polo with gray pants. He was so embarassed.
My mom and I have the same feet and shoes.
Sweet Nolan bubs.
The two "hoes." You can take the girl outta California, but not the California out of the girl. That about sums them up.

They took the kids to the Oakland Zoo while Matt and I attended the temple. It worked out great.
We ate Boudins clam chowder and sourdough bread bowl twice!
We toured Jelly Belly, it was unfortunately during shutdown, so no beans were being made.

We went to the park where Lindsey got a video of Nolan laughing his head off, see it HERE. It is worth a viewing.
Even though it was the cloudiest day of the trip and Lindsey couldn't ride any rides, we did go to Waterworld. We had a good time!

Matt and Lonsters on the Half-Pipe.
Lonsters and I coming out of the Tornado, my favorite water slide ride to date.

We had a good time and can't wait to see everyone again soon!

Discovery Kingdom

We had a great day at Discovery Kingdom with the Berrett's. I learned that this is an amazing place for kids and I also learned that I am getting old. When I was young, I could run from roller coaster to roller coaster, not a speck of nausea from the thrill, but I could hardly stomach the few rides we went on. I don't like this getting old stuff. And I am not really THAT old either, for heavens sake!! Anyways, it was a good time all around, the kids had a great day, the weather was perfect, and the adults got some big kid ride time in. It was nice to get out and enjoy the day with friends, thank you Laura and Nate!

Addie on the coolest play structure I have ever seen.
Reagan on Dumbo, her current favorite movie to watch.
I like this picture!
The girls riding a train. They don't seem like they are enjoying themselves in this photo, kind of funny, but I know they were.
Laura and Addie on the swings.
Me and Reagan also on the swings. This ride never outgrows you! I enjoy it even as an adult :)
I was very proud of Laura for going on Voodoo. She is much tougher than she gives herself credit for.
The three of us taking the long walk towards Voodoo ;)
First in line!
Gearing up for the ride. This is one of those typical amusement park rides, they have a similar one at Lagoon that sprays water up at you. It is pretty scream-worthy.
We were on the front row!
DK's version of Shamu, Shouka the Killer Whale.
The flippin dolphins.
Matt and Nate on Boomerang, they are in the very last row. They were being towed up at this point.
Right after being towed up, the free fall down.
Going on a loop backwards, again, back row!
Saying hi to some of our Looney friends.

Marvin the Martian made Nolan laugh, just before I took this photo of course.Good times, thanks guys!

Kids Photos

We took this kiddies in today for some professional shots, I finally broke down and did it. It took an hour and a half, which is about an hour too long for their attention span. But I am happy with their individual shots and we will attempt the together ones for another day :)

My favorite Nolan one.

Our favorite Reagan one.

Matt loves this one.

This is where the meltdowns began...
...and continued, but I do love that she is "shushing" him. ;)
