Grandma and Grandpa come to visit

I need to hurry and post something quick because I really don't like opening my blog page and seeing a swear word. Sorry to those Matt may have offended, but those who know him well know that:
a) he is totally not serious
b) Matt cusses to get reactions out of people.

We had a really good weekend because Matt's parents were in town and Reagan was in heaven with lots of love and attention from Grandma and Grandpa. We prepped her well for this visit and even though she acted shy for the first hour or so with them, she now doesn't stop talking about the visit. Her words this morning were, "Gamma and Ganka go on choo-choo?" And I told her they took the choo-choo to the airplane.

Grandma and Grandpa flew in early Saturday and arrived just in time for us to get home from soccer. They brought Reagan some toys, including a new doll. She loves this new doll and took her clothes off right away (a sign she really likes it). We went to the park and Reagan showed off her wicked skills on the bike and climbing wall. Really she just wanted to push Grandma in the swing!! Matt got the opportunity to throw around a football, something he misses since the arrival of the big-bellied, clumsy wife.

We rode the train at Tilden Park, one of Reagan's current faves (she loves trains!) All five (six, really...) of us squeezed into a little boxcar. Thank goodness the ride is only 10 minutes or so.
She sticks out her tongue when she wants to be shy, but also is really really loving the attention.
The carousel was all decked out in Halloween decor and it was pretty cool looking! They had this spook alley set up in the side of the carousel house and all the workers were dressed in great costumes. Reagan didn't quite know what to think of Frankenstein, though!

We took them to the Oakland temple, but it was pretty late and Reagan had already fallen asleep in the car, so we didn't stay long. Mom and Dad Ras headed into San Fran Sunday afternoon, but we did get to see them Monday! Reagan and I took the BART train in the early afternoon and met Matt and Grandma. Regs and Matt swam in the indoor pool, Reagan took her first shower!, and we ate really sweet oranges that looked like lemons. Appearances can be very deceiving. We had hamburgers for dinner in Union Square and most of us agreed they were better than In-N-Out...gasp, I know!!!!!

We had such a good time with them and it makes us even more holiday-hungry! Thanks for flying out here and spoiling us, Grandma and Grandpa!!

DAMMIT RASMUSSEN

I don't know why that I like that name, but it just sounds good to me. Dammit, come hear. Dammit, stop that. Dammit, eat your food. I think that it's an amazing name.

Soccer & Pumpkin Farm

Reagan's toddler (2 to 3 1/2 year olds) soccer class is hilarious. It is a parent participation one and the participation is much needed. While Reagan has shown a definite interest in sports, she still has her own agenda, especially this past Saturday. With my camera out of commission, these are the only photos I may be able to snap for a while, so they will just have to suffice. This is a great representation of last Saturday. Matt trying to get Reagan to stay on the "field" and participate.
We had the same idea as many other families and went to the Pumpkin Farm afterwards. It was a cute little place. We don't need any more pumpkins, we mostly went because Reagan is in love with trains and they have a 2 dollar train ride that is great for kids, although I was inhaling lawnmower fumes the entire time.
Haha, I love this photo of her below.
This photos was taken right before our camera broke. These may be the last photos you see of us for a while.
Reagan was so giddy to be on the train. Look at her smile! She is obsessed with anything that looks like a train, including big long trucks and buses as well as the BART. Freeway overpasses and the BART tracks are also referred to as choo-choo's.

Send Heba home!

Oh, man, how about The Biggest Loser (TBL) last night? For starters, that temptation about did me in. I wanted some reese peanut butter cups so bad after that. But I was actually shocked that they didn't eat any more. Heba and Phil were pretty funny. Why Phil didn't just speak up I do not know. Everyone knows she is a control freak. I love that it was in the dark.

I wanted Heba to lose and go home, but man, she is pulling out some big numbers. I guess it is good that her team did win because otherwise they would have sent Amy home no doubt. She is a little too emotional for me and I was miffed that she split up Phil and Amy out of spite. Her little alliance with the brown team is completely lame. Didn't she state just last week something to the effect of, "well, I know this isn't the case for everyone, but Ed and I came here to lose weight, not play a game and win money. It isn't about the money at all!!" Liar. You are playing a game and you know it. Eat some more donuts and go home!

When Shellay was being sent home, I bawled like a baby. Maybe it was just my hormones, but I couldn't stop crying and I was so glad Matt was at basketball so that he couldn't laugh at me.

Staying Active

Reagan wants to ride her bike all day. Every single day. And I really tire of following her around the apartment complex, so sometimes we pack up the bike and take it to the park.
I did step aerobics the other morning and Reagan was so funny! She wanted to copy all the moves.

Fall-La-La

Matt is our expert pumpkin carver, as has been shown in the past. Last weekend he carved a pumpkin for Reagan and dished out some seeds to cook for himself. He spent quite a bit of time doing this. Here is the carver at work. The end result. Unfortunately our "kitty-cat" pumpkin grew some hair right away and collapsed in a sticky, wet mess, so she had to be thrown out. We will do another one closer to Halloween.
Reagan and I decorated for Halloween on October 1st. I love the Halloween decorations we have and I was excited for Reagan to see them this year. This is her favorite decoration...a plastic pumpkin that plugs in and lights up, given to us by Mom Ras. When Reagan is awake and at home, she insists that this pumpkin be turned on!!
This is my favorite decoration. Also given to us by Mom Ras, I think it is unique and super scary. Plus everything else we have is pretty much pumpkins, this is the one thing that isn't!

Addiction

This pregnancy has forced me to slow down. I'm more tired (probably due to chasing Reagan around all day instead of sitting at a computer) and I have had to take my nights and just relax, usually laying down. Once Reagan is in bed, and on occasion before she is, I take to the couch and relax with some great tv. I think tv can be such a waste of time and I will admit...during the daytime it is. I can't remember the last time I turned our tv on before 6pm. But I definitely love me some Food Network, Office, and thanks to my friend Lori's suggestion, HGTV. I have a new love, though. A show I NEVER thought I would like because I kind of think reality tv is a thing of the past: The Biggest Loser.

I have been following TBL since the first week and for many reasons. It is on Tuesdays, and that is Matt's mutual and late night basketball night. Also, it completely motivates me to eat better and never become obese. I like to see how they train and what they eat. And I love to see the emotional bonds that are formed between the teams this year. And on a completely irrelevant note, the host is due at the exact same time as me.

If you have seen this show, just know that I am a super strong supporter of team yellow and even though Jerry is gone, Colleen is going all the way. That chic is the most motivated to be here and to lose the weight. She is more consistent, she is YOUNG (a huge advantage) and knows that she has to change her lifestyle and eating habits for the rest of her life, not just while she is trying to lose weight.

Here it is

I'm checking my pride at the door...this is for Loni, Cait, and the rest of the fam who has yet to see my exploding belly. This is at 24 weeks. Appropriately enough, my indoor exercise equipment is behind me...the treadmill and my aerobic step. Both have been used quite a bit, but I feel like it isn't even making a difference at all.

Still thrilled to be having another baby, though!!!

Pedaling Schmedaling

In the last week or so, with the weather being beautiful, we have been outdoors more and I think that I have had 3 or so people from our complex exclaim how big Reagan is getting. It is true. She is growing up too fast. Her language is developing and she actually uses phrases and sentences. She will say things like, "Ma, I have a snack?" "Wher'd my baby go?" and "I go night-night." (Unfortunately that last one isn't heard too often.)

About a week ago, out of nowhere she hopped onto her bike and started pedaling on the deck. So we started taking her outside each day and she has improved vastly. I got a great video of her starting out, but it wasn't uploading onto blogger for some reason. But it is funny because I just watched it today, after taking her out, and she was actually kind of struggling back then. In just a weeks time, she has really gotten it down pat.

This morning she rode it around the complex for about 60 minutes. I was begging her to go inside because for once, I was the one needing a snack and go to the bathroom! If I tried to give her a little push up the hill or straighten her out when she went off the sidewalk, she would look back and say, "No, Mom!"

Last Saturday was Reagan's first week of soccer. When I say soccer, most people think I am crazy and say, "isn't she 2???" Yes, she is, and trust me, this isn't exactly competitive soccer. It is a parent/child thing and most kids still have no clue what soccer even is. But we shall see what happens as it progresses. They have it each Saturday morning through early December. I guess I am a little biased, but I really hope that she loves this sport! But in the end if she doesn't, while I will be mildly disappointed, she is her own self and I cannot make her like certain things!

She has also hit a fun stage where she wants to do everything I do. This may sound vain, but I seriously love it. In the mornings, she loves to watch me put on makeup and everything I put on, I have to "pretend" to do to her. If I put mascara on, she insists I put it on her. She is like that, right down to the way I do my hair, spraying perfume, putting lotion on. Then comes getting dressed. She seems to think that maternity clothing tops are all dresses. Granted, they do look like them. But now she wants to wear a dress like mom every day. Sometimes I let her put on one, because at the rate she changes her clothing, by 10AM, the dress is usually well under the pile of already-tried-on-clothing for the day.

With the first of October tomorrow, the holidays officially begin in our home. We are looking forward to this month! General Conference is a great way to begin the season, but also we have a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen coming up, a wedding to attend which will allow me to have a reunion with my college roommates, and of course...Halloween!

Really Jim??

A gas station? Are you SERIOUS?

Both mine and Matt's reaction to the most famous proposal ever to grace NBC. But now that it has been 37 minutes and I have had time to think and ponder on it, I am actually starting to really like the proposal. Jim is a very simple guy and I don't think the fireworks proposal was really his personality anyways (it was more Andy's). Plus it was a spur of the moment and caught all Office fans off guard...well, except when your sister calls your minutes before the premiere and says, "something big happens, but I won't tell you!!" Just kidding, Lindsey, I suspected it, but it still totally took me by surprise!

I am hating Ryan being back. Why can't people just leave and be gone? Toby? Ryan? Jan? All people I thought ran their course at Dunder Mifflin and now they are back. But Ryan irks me the most. I can't stand his character and I really hope he becomes the office pariah. Good for Kelly shutting him down. Now if only Michael could shut him down as well, however...

Michael is totally and completely clueless. Things hit the fan in our home when he ripped the Counting Crows tickets. For starters, I really like that group, but mostly because he is completely ruining things for him and Holly. I don't know how many more dumb Michael moments I can take.

Things I liked: Creed's tapeworm scandal, Stanley taking the stairs and so happy for losing 7 pounds.

Angela and Dwight are also killing me. She is a complete train wreck and I hope that we see her take a big fall this season. Why isn't Phyllis blackmailing her for more than the PPC chair? REALLY? Party planning committee...is that all? Phyllis is always stomped all over in the office and this is one way she can really start to utilize some power, haha. She needs to stick it to Angela.

Little People get the boot!

The other day, Reagan evacuated her school bus and decided that she wanted to ride in one! She loves school buses and points them out while out on walks, in the car, and just about everywhere. Today we saw a Penske moving truck and she announced "school bus!" So I guess by this point she is mighty curious to know what it is like to really ride on a bus!
The evacuated children.
Someday, Regs, someday.

30 YEARS OLD!

Matt celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday! It was a great day for him (I think). He went to work, came home, played with Reagan, then we went to dinner with some friends at Claim Jumper and went bowling!! It was a good time and Matt got to reconnect with an old mission friend who just moved into our ward.

We made a chocolate cake the day before and it was half eaten by the time his actual birthday rolled around. It was a really good one, I may have to post the recipe. Reagan and I made it from scratch!!

In honor of Matt's full 30 years of life, I have come up with 30 fun facts to share about him. Enjoy!

1. Matt irons all the clothing in the home. I guess that is the consequence of his father-in-law being a dry-cleaner.
2. As a youth, Matt worked at Target and also the ice cream shop in Lagoon.
3. Matt never loses his temper or hardly even raises his voice, unless he is losing at sports or video games.
4. When he talks on the phone, he paces around the house, going from room to room.
5. He likes to ride the BART, for it gives him some quiet time and rest before and after work.
6. He would like to have 3-4 children.
7. Matt is extremely low maintenance, so I usually have nothing to get him on his birthday or Christmas since there is nothing he wants or uses.
8. His current favorite (affordable) restaurant is Claim Jumper.
9. His current favorite (unaffordable) restaurant is Flemings.
10. His favorite dessert is lemon bars or chocolate no-bakes.
11. Matt took 10 weeks of paternity leave after Reagan was born! (Not gonna happen with this one, though).
12. His favorite sport is basketball.
13. He is an amazing volleyball player and wishes he had more opportunities to play.
14. We used to occasionally “race” back in Provo and while I would kill him in distance, he would completely waste me in sprints! He is very fast…
15. Matt uses the phrase “That’s what she said” probably more often than Michael Scott.
16. Matt thinks his sister Lori is extremely generous!
17. He values Amy’s opinion on so many subjects and is always looking to her for example.
18. He loves how fun loving and energetic Melanie is.
19. When Jeff moved to SoCal, Matt wanted to move there, too. He would love to live close to his only brother!
20. Matt loves that Lindsay will play video games with him and definitely give him some tough competition.
21. He thinks the world of his parents.
22. From day one, Matt completely fit right in with his in-laws.
23. When Matt asked my dad if he could marry me, my dad “warned” him what I was really like (THANKS, DAD) but also said his only stipulation was that he “treated me well.”
24. Matt has definitely lived up to the above stipulation.
25. Matt has one of the strongest connections to Reagan that I have ever seen in a father-daughter relationship. She is his mini-me!
26. He loves to collect things: sports cards, golf balls, stamps, coins, history books.
28. When Matt gets a cold, the only thing he requests is his mom’s wassail.
29. The semester I met Matt, he was asked out on 13 different dates. I was one of them!
30. He served a mission to Bilbao, Spain and would love to go back someday and visit.

Regrets

Most nights, after Reagan has gone down and all is quiet on our home front, I often sit and think of the things that I did that day that I could have done better. I think of the times I could have been more patient with Reagan and times when I should have just put down what I was doing and played along with her because in the blink of an eye she will be all grown up and I will be the one asking her to play and she will say, "no thanks, mom." I go to bed with a slightly guilty feeling in the back of my mind and vow to be a better mom in the morning. Most days it works. I feel like I am becoming a better mom to her and that my patience, although genetically thin, is expanding.

Today I put Reagan down for a nap at 12:45 pm. She was tired from not having a nap the day before (1PM church isn't my favorite) and I knew she needed a good one today. Well, whaddaya know? She played in her crib for 3 hours, flat out refusing to lay down and take one. About an hour and a half into this, I went into her room to sternly tell her to lay down and go night-night only to smell right away that she had a poopy diaper. So I got her out, changed her, then noticed it was all over her bedding. So I changed her mattress pad, crib sheet and pillowcase, cleaned her up some more and wiped down the rails, then finally put her back in. She played for another hour and a half.

Since I consider myself somewhat of a sleep nazi, this REALLY REALLY bothered me. She needs her sleep....so that she can be happy....and havy plenty of brain cells....so that she can be smart and a good student....so that she can go to college...etc. You see my point. And as Matt often says, " I think about things WAY too much!" Well, I finally get her up and get her out. She was happy, mostly giddy to have gotten out of her much despised nap time, but also with a second wind I suppose. She played happily with me, we made pizza, then she sat down to eat her pizza. It was 5:30 PM and JUST as I predicted in my thoughts, she starts to nod off. I keep her awake and she doesn't like it. Because I am a sleep nazi, I firmly do not want her napping after 4pm, but rather stay awake with an early bedtime.

So I finally just give in and go to give her a bath. She is so tired she is nodding off in the bath. I get her out and that third wind starts up. She knows I am about to put her to bed, so she winds herself up like a toy and goes and goes. Matt arrives home and per the usual, she is ready to PLAY like crazy with dad (which consists of lots of running, jumping, throwing, acting crazy) and I immediately bark at him to stay calm, don't rile her up, she needs to go to sleep.

He kindly tells me to take a break (he has already heard an earful over the phone about the nap situation) and that he will put her to bed in a half hour. I tell him no, right now, she will get over tired and not fall asleep, so he does it and goes to put her to bed.

Then it starts. I sit on the couch as he is in the back room singing to her and rocking her and I think...what in the world am I doing? Is there something wrong if she goes for a day without a nap? Is it the end of the world if dad wants to play with her an extra 30 minutes before putting her down? Is that REALLY going to be the deciding factor if she gets into college or not? Jeez, Lacy, you have some ISSUES! That is what I am thinking.

So tonight, like many nights, I think that I am going to reevaluate my priorities. While I still find sleep incredibly important, it will not rule my day with my child and the time my child has with her dad. If things don't go right, which they just won't sometimes, I will not freak out, but I will let if roll off my back, like my mom always says.

Sometimes people joke with us that I am so good to be "putting up" with Matt. He loves to tease, he loves sports, and I guess there are some women out there that are too sensitive for that. But man, I sit and think every night how so dang lucky I am. That guy comes home from work every day with a smile on his face, takes Reagan, gives me a break, eats whatever I put in front of him, and never ever complains. Ever. He gets it from his dad. Now everyone can truly see that I am not the one "putting up" with Matt, but it is rather the exact opposite. I sure love my little Regs and Matt and guess what? Tomorrow I am going to be more patient ;)

Good Eats

Eat here.

They just opened up a Rubio's on Monument Blvd. It's like Baja Fresh, only 100 times better.

If you need a menu suggestion, my family really loves the fish tacos (most people I know do), but I really dig the chicken tacos. Get the pinto beans and chips, too.

Yum.

I heart September

There are many things I love about September. Labor Day is a nice way to begin because Matt has that Monday off. We went to the Vacaville Outlets and bought Reagan's entire winter wardrobe and some things for the little dude. Even though it was still like 100 degrees, I wanted Reagan to wear her new dress to church this past Sunday since I am sick of seeing her two summer dresses she has been wearing for like a year now. Okay, Reagan in this car is the funniest thing. She always hops in, looks back at me and waves "bye, mom! miss you!" and drives off to the end of the deck, gets out, gets back in, then drives back to me and says "back!" I play along like I have just sent her off to college or something ("take care, Reagan, love you!") and haven't seen her in forever. It's cute. Humongo reason why I like September...seeing THE OFFICE come back on tv. I have been following the updates on Season 5 all summer and this one looks to be good, but....different! I read Office Tally every day and the author of this fansite got to interview Paul Lieberstein (Toby) and Amy Ryan (Holly) and the summary can be found HERE. Warning, it contains spoilers, but it also contains some really, really good material that can get you thinking about the upcoming episodes.
Two things: it starts on September 25th and also...who's missing from the photo below???
I also love the smell of college football in the air. Even though I don't get into it as much as Matt, I still follow BYU and some other teams and I just feel good when I hear the sound of football on the tv this time of year.

I like looking for a Halloween costume for Reagan, even though it is only September. I like to filter through all the second hand stores first to see what I can find. This year I have already gone from having her be Minnie Mouse, to a butterfly, and right now I am pretty intent on staying at the current costume, which is a kitten! Nice and easy, I can do it homemade if need be.

This just isn't a real Rasmussen post without a cheesy photo of Matt. I was trying out the timer on our camera and he happened into it at the exact right moment.
All tuckered out after missing her nap on Sunday.
We had tri-tip on Sunday. Again, I have said before that I am not much of a steak girl, I prefer my red meat in the form of an In-N-Out hamburger, but this stuff was TO DIE FOR! It is that Morton's Steakhouse marinated tri-tip from Costco. Trust me, it was expensive but worth every penny.
Reagan got to spend some time with Adelaide. She missed her! They did chin-ups and hugged.

Reagan's afternoon project. She is obsessed with her diapers, or "minnie's" as we call them here, since they have a Minnie Mouse on the front. I am glad she is obsessed with them because they sure aren't going ANYWHERE anytime soon. This chic won't be potty trained for a looooong time.

Simple Things

I feel like I don't have too much to blog about lately. With my cousin escaping Gustav in Louisiana and my brother's wicked going away party, our lives seem really quiet.

But in reality they really haven't been. We found out this last week we are expecting a boy which still hasn't sunk in yet. And I feel the need to clarify, for those who read our last post, that we are most definitely NOT naming our child Edward Jacob. Matt just finished the fourth book in the Twilight series (yeah, I know he freakin rocks for reading them) and he thought it would be funny to put that. But most people didn't pick up on it and while I think Edward is a fantastic last name (Cory and Kristen), its definitely not what we are using.

We celebrated in true Rasmussen style and got blizzards at Dairy Queen after the ultrasound. The 16 year old at the counter looked at me like I was crazy after I ordered a large chocolate shake and said "there's enough calories in that for two huge meals!" Gee, thanks dude, but if I were truly looking for low-cal ice cream, I would not be at the DQ.
Reagan loves ladybugs and just calls them "bugs." But she let this one crawl on her arm! It was really cute, she was completely fascinated!
While in the shower the other day, this is what Reagan was up to.

The other day my friend Liz asked me if my appetite was back. While it is no doubt better than the first three months, I didn't realize the extent that it was back until this last week. It was 11am in the morning and I was hungry for lunch. So Reagan and I headed to the store since I had to grab a few things anyways. We first had to stop at the bakery to get a free cookie and I usually pass and just get one for Reagan, but I grabbed one for me, too. So then we head by the deli counter and those sandwiches just CALL out my name! So I grabbed a turkey sandwich to go for us for lunch. But wait, then I walked by that nice little soup station that they have there in Safeway and I smelled something good. It was clam chowder, which I don't even really love, but I had a really good bowl while on Fisherman's Wharf in June, so it sounded good. I got some of that to go. Then we are heading down the frozen food section and I spot the corn dogs. I had one a week ago at Cherie's, and have been wanting another since. So I grabbed a huge box of those.

I decided it was a good idea to just skip the rest of the aisles and head for the checkout. I got home, ate my soup and was full. I felt so silly for all the food I had bought and am thinking that poor Matt is gonna read this and worry that I will drain our bank account over the next 4 months on food. I will watch it from now on, Matt!

X + Y = Boy

It's a boy! Edward Jacob Rasmussen is alive and kicking. We celebrated the same way my dad did when he found out that he was having his first boy, by going to dairy queen (although we found out before the birth and didn't go at 2 am).

Daytime Fun, Nighttime Not

Reagan has been without a binky for the last three nights. We took her binky away for a myriad of reasons. The main one being that she simply does not need it anymore. However, she is very much attached to it and requires it to sleep. So nap and bedtime has been horrendous and I dread it almost as much as she does. In fact, I am listening to her cry right now in her crib. I am hoping things get better soon.

To counteract the nighttime battles, we have been trying to keep her entertained well during the day. She loves her "cat" shirt, which is a treat for her to have this Halloween!
She went to a birthday party at Pixieland for one of her friends and she had a blast. She also threw one of the biggest fits I have ever seen her throw and it was another reason we took the binky away.
She has been living in her swimsuit. We have been swimming quite a bit in the last month. She wakes up in the morning, and goes to put her "simshack" on. Yeah, she really calls it that. Funny, huh.
She got to spend more time with friends yesterday, racing them on the deck.

Giants game

We went to a Giants game a few weeks ago. The real reason we went is this pic below...Mr Manny himself. It was against the Dodgers and we loved the fans in front of us who were wearing Dodger hats with Manny wigs attached to the back. Matt wanted to see Manny in action. Since the tickets were through Matt's work, Reagan got to sit with Addie, and that of course makes her day! She really enjoyed the game, I think. She and I took the BART into San Francisco and met Matt for dinner. She was excellent on the train. She stared out the window and exclaimed "too-too-twain" every 5 minutes and also stared at the guy sitting across from us. He was wearing sunglasses, but I bet he was staring back. Halfway through the train ride, he got out some chapstick and after using it, Reagan held out her hand and said "some." She does this to me when I put it on. It was funny.
I love this stadium for the good view. Although our seats are nosebleed, our backs are to the incoming fog, so it isn't as chilly as the other end of the stadium. The water behind is San Francisco Bay and you can barely see Oakland in the distance.

3+1=4

I heard our little babe's heartbeat today, so I guess I finally feel safe enough to post. Most of you who have seen me in the last few weeks probably can tell anyways. Arrival date is late January. We're pretty excited and as much as I hate getting fat (especially when I get scrutinized for gaining 6 pounds in 5 weeks), pregnancy is not something I take for granted and I see it as a total blessing and miracle. Here's to an insane, but fun 2009!

White Water Rafting

Since Matt didn't really explain this post, then I will post some better photos and give more detail. During my last week in Utah, Matt flew home for work and also for the High Venture trip with the Young Men. They went White Water Rafting down the American River. He hasn't stopped talking about it and based on the photos I have seen, its pretty obvious why. It was a blast for them. Matt is the one in the back on our right. I think these photos are from an area of the river called Tunnel Chute, but I may be wrong and if I am, he will correct this post at first chance. Hopefully he can provide more detail, too :)

This reminds me of...

...when Matt and I were dating in college and, like most guys apartments, the trash would be stacked up to the ceiling until someone finally took it out. I remember seeing this sight many times in Matt's apartment at the Riv, only the stack was about twice the height and width.

We had a stack going on like that last weekend and it was like deja vu!

Hats off to my bro!

He will be entering the FBI Academy soon! We found this good news out while I was in Utah and it trumped most of my top 10, we were that excited for him. I won't put any details because I am not sure how private they are about it, but basically we are proud of him, his hard work, and look forward to having our very own...."secret A-GENT MAN" in the family.

Where will you be?

On Tuesday night?

I will totally be watching the womens gymnastics. They had me mesmerized tonight, even with their mistakes. I love womens gymnastics and I can't wait to see them compete more.

On September 25th?

I will totally be watching the season 5 premiere of The Office!! Where do Jim and Pam stand? This episode will be different--it will air as little 10 minute segments and actually show what went down over the summer, as opposed to "real time" which is what they usually do, skipping over what happened over hiatus. Can't wait.
